Ethnic cleansing also affected territories from Africa, especially those controlled by European countries attacked by Germans. Some countries had an incredibly high killing rate.

Germany’s invasion was considered a turning point in World War 2. If prior to this moment Jews were usually expelled, this invasion changed everything, as more and more Jews ended up dead in random attacks.
Romania gained popularity among Nazis because of its extermination techniques. Jews were brutally murdered in the streets, while dead bodies were left everywhere. There was no organisation at all.
The Holocaust started with persecutions in Germany. Many Jews managed to flee the aggressive regime before the murders started. Some of them were caught in other countries, other survived the Holocaust. Persecutions soon turned into murders.
Despite deportations and persecutions, the survival rate of Jews in France was around 75%, quite high for what other countries in Europe went through. Deportations lasted between 1942 and 1944.
About 75% of all Jews in the Netherlands perished in the Holocaust. Compared to other countries in the western side of Europe, this is one of the highest rates. It’s uncertain whether the rest of the population knew what was going on.
Multiple countries were affected throughout the Holocaust. Some countries were forced to join and support Germany, while others were occupied through a series of invasions. The goal was to eliminate everyone for the supremacy of a superior race.
